Walid Boudhiaf, from Tunisia, is one of the world’s deepest freedivers, having reached a depth of -118m in training and -113m in competition, both achieved in the discipline of free immersion. His quest for new depths and redefinition of human boundaries, led him to continuously explore different training techniques and motivation methods, shifting the limits of the mind, as well as new cultures and exciting destinations throughout the world.
Walid started swimming at a very early age and began spearfishing at 12 in the Mediterranean Sea. He got into competitive freediving in 2006 and held numerous national and continental records, in all disciplines of freediving. He is also an AIDA Instructor Trainer and travels the world teaching and training.
